I am doing a survey on colour healing. Please help out by replying below if you can and have a few minutes to spare for me.
So far my researchings tell me that each colour has a specific purpose.. i.e. blue is for calming, green is more healing, red is for action. Could you please tell me if you have found that you use green for calming or blue for healing? Have you got any rooms in your home that are these colours because of this, or work well for this? Thank you.

There are some good books about colour healing. I am sorry but I cannot tell you which ones but I am sure that googling it or visiting a shop that sells such books will be able to fill you in.

I went through a very rough time and found colours did help me. They had to be the right colours not just the colours I like. When I dress I often wear red, but going through my rough time I found this grated on me. I had to tone it down to pinks, creams etc.

In answer to your question I do find green to be a very calming colour and I have my Bedroom painted in it, I find Blue a very cold colour so wouldn't use it at all. I hope this helps your research

Colors? My rooms are all white, my clothes are all white, peaceful and clean. That is what I need right now but maybe change it to other colour later. It is less chaotic to stick to one and easier with decorations and dressing.

Colours play a big part in most peoples lives wether it be what we ware or the rooms that we live in, we decorate them all to make us feel happy and contented. I prefer bright colours greens and oranges but others find greys soothing for them.

My sister worked as a florist and said the colours were more important than the flowers, it was like painting a picture with twigs, leaves and petals. Can see her point. When you see a vase of flowers in a room it is the colour you notice first.

My fav colors were red and yellow for ages, now it is lime green, coral, apricot, pink, raspberry, peach etc. No idea of why and don't care a toss, just go with the flow! There are things that you need to know and things that don't matter. Do you question why you like some foods and not others? Same thing to me I think.
